Job description

Devoted Studios is a globally remote game development company specializing in Co-development, Porting, and End-to-End Art Production for the global gaming industry.
Our team includes world-class talents who bring deep expertise in external development, pipeline optimization, and creative problem-solving. Whether it's porting games to new systems, enhancing gameplay features, or crafting stunning visuals, Devoted Studios operates as a trusted, flexible extension of our partners' internal teams.
We are proud to be the development partner of choice for industry leaders such as:
    • Epic
    • Xbox
    • Meta
    • Obsidian Entertainment
    • Riot
    • Gearbox Software

At Devoted Studios, we're committed to making outsourcing more efficient, collaborative, and impactful. If you're passionate about co-development, game art, or solving technical challenges on a global scale.
We are hiring an Account Manager to own the health, satisfaction, and growth of Devoted's existing client portfolio. This is not a new-business hunting role, it sits on the other side of the equation, and it is equally critical to how Devoted scales.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Ownership
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of active co-development accounts, knowing every client's goals, team structure, and current engagement status
  • Build deep, trusted relationships at every level of each client organisation, from day-to-day production contacts through to senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Maintain client satisfaction across your portfolio, measured through regular check-ins and structured feedback loops
  • Be the person clients call when something goes wrong, ensuring both sides stay focused on finding the best solution rather than placing blame

Account Health & Escalation Management
  • Monitor the health of every active engagement in your portfolio, spotting warning signs early through regular cadences with both clients and internal production teams
  • Partner closely with Production Leads to ensure full visibility on project status, quality, and any risks that could affect the client relationship
  • Proactively surface and mitigate risks, escalating internally where needed and maintaining client confidence throughout

Account Growth
  • Set and pursue quarterly growth targets for your current accounts, identifying expansion opportunities through deep understanding of each client's roadmap and upcoming projects
  • Grow engagements organically: identify where Devoted can take on additional scope, new service lines, or adjacent projects within existing client relationships
  • Build the kind of trust that turns a single project into a long-term partnership, and a satisfied client into a source of referrals
  • Collaborate with the Head of BD to ensure a smooth transition when accounts grow into new service areas or require business development support

Operational Discipline
  • Maintain CRM excellence: keep all account records, communication logs, and health data current and actionable
  • Prepare regular account status reports including satisfaction scores, expansion opportunities, risks, and renewal timelines
  • Represent Devoted at relevant industry events and conferences, strengthening existing client relationships and staying connected to the broader ecosystem

Requirements
  • 5+ years in account management, client success, or partner management, ideally within the games industry or a creative/technical services environment
  • Demonstrable track record of growing accounts quarter-over-quarter under your ownership, with measurable numbers behind it
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder client relationships, comfortable at operational, senior, and executive levels simultaneously
  • Background in or strong working knowledge of co-development, game services, or external development

Skills & Competencies
  • Outstanding relationship management skills, a natural communicator who builds trust quickly and maintains it under pressure
  • Strong commercial fluency: you understand what an engagement costs, what margin looks like, and what the implications of scope changes are for both sides
  • Comfortable having difficult conversations - with clients when expectations need resetting, and internally when production issues need escalating
  • CRM discipline: HubSpot, Salesforce, or comparable, used as a living operating tool, not a reporting afterthought
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously without losing the detail on any of them

Nice to have:
  • Direct experience in co-development, porting, or outsourced art and engineering services, either as a buyer or on the service provider side
  • Existing relationships with publishers, platform holders, or AAA studios in North America or Europe

Benefits
  • Strong and enthusiastic team - you will have the opportunity for knowledge sharing, learning, and professional self-development
  • Interesting and challenging tasks - solve diverse and challenging issues, communicate with people within the company as well as with our partners;
  • Convenient working conditions - remote work, the opportunity to build your own working day with flexible working hours
  • А chance to work in a highly professional and dynamic team working with a wide range of International Game Production projects, attractive remuneration package, and opportunities to develop professionally.

This is a remote, full-time contracted position.
We are an equal opportunity company and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for a contract without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
