Job description

Job Summary:
Riot Games is an interactive entertainment company known for its player-first approach. They are seeking an Esports Event Producer to manage the production of digital, studio, and stadium events, leading the design and execution of activations for live and broadcast audiences.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate event project scope, schedules, deliverable dates, project status/action items and any other relevant information.
• Partner with creative and production teams to brainstorm and produce esports events, sharing learnings and documentation across products, events, and regions.
• Prepare and present insights, reports, and recommendations to senior stakeholders as necessary.
• Partner with our product team to curate the overall fan experience, and oversee the execution of our fan-facing event deliverables on-site for our products.
• Partner to drive the creative vision for our shows for everything related to set design, creative audio and lighting, video — and develop a strong partnership with the Production team to deliver against the vision.
• Assist with developing data-driven insights for our events including budget, ticket sales, attendance figures, etc.
• Partner with creative and production teams to ideate and produce opening ceremonies, including the thematic, visual and special effects, music, live performances and more.
• Collaborate with the game development teams and other internal teams at Riot to seamlessly integrate in-game activities and content with our live events.
• Maintain relationships with the industry, including creative agencies, artistic talents, vendors and freelancers, and manage multiple vendors and partners through the execution of our events.
• Oversee vendor RFPs, contract negotiations, and performance tracking in alignment with procurement and Riot’s legal standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments to align production timelines, resourcing, and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regional regulations while maintaining flexibility for creative execution.
• Serve as a point of contact for regional and global stakeholders, escalating and resolving issues as needed.
• Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement in all production processes.
• Partner with our Consumer Products team with regards to esports product merchandise, and merchandise planning for esports events.
• Oversee planning and logistics for events, including staff travel, hotels, talent and VIP itineraries.
• Plan and develop physical security plans and risk assessments for our esports events.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 4+ years of experience in production.
• Experience managing stakeholders and guiding teams through the execution of live events, shows, TV or film productions.
• Hands-on experience as an events producer or coordinating producer, with a solid background in events strategy, events production, and creative executions.
• Experience developing ticket sales strategies for events and managing ticket sales.
• Knowledge of technical production, budgeting, vendor management, and operational logistics.
Preferred:
• Experience with large-scale events for 10,000+ attendees as well as small-scale events for a few hundred attendees.
• Experience across both competitive esports and publishing/brand activations.
