• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to develop tailored therapy strategies rooted in the individual needs of each client.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring appropriate support for varied mental health concerns.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Document and maintain accurate clinical records, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards to ensure compliance and accountability.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, sharing insights, and strategies to enhance client outcomes.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and other educational opportunities to remain abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health care.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families who may be experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clinic is particularly dedicated to serving clients who have historically had limited access to mental health resources. You will play a vital role in their journey towards improved emotional health and stability.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of active, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas is essential.
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, is required.
• Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards governing the practice of professional counseling.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Documented ability to work as part of a healthcare team, coordinating care effectively.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies is highly desirable.

• Specialization or experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly preferred.
• Experience with culturally responsive therapeutic practices and an understanding of socio-economic factors that affect mental health are advantageous.

• The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and client availability.
