Group Product Manager - Logistics

Spscommerce

Full-time

Job description

Description:

SPS Commerce is a leading provider of cloud-based supply chain management solutions, serving a global network of retail trading partners. We foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment where innovation and continuous improvement are highly valued. Join SPS Commerce and be part of a dynamic team that's transforming the global retail supply chain!

Position Summary:As Group Product Manager for Logistics, you will own the product strategy and roadmap for two complementary products: our 3PL (Warehouse) product, which helps third-party logistics providers connect and automate order fulfillment across their retail customers, and our Transportation product, which helps small-to-mid asset-based transportation companies standardize load tenders and connect with shippers. You'll lead a team of three, working closely with engineering, design, sales, and go-to-market partners, and be accountable for strategic and tactical outcomes across both product lines. This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role at the intersection of SaaS, logistics, network connectivity, and supply chain automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and communicate a multi-year product vision and roadmap for the Logistics product line, balancing near-term customer needs with longer-term network strategy.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of three - a Product Manager and Product Owners - setting a high bar for discovery, prioritization, and execution.
  • Own product outcomes including adoption, retention, and customer satisfaction across the 3PL and Transportation products.
  • Partner with sales and customer success to understand the operational realities of warehouse operators and transportation dispatchers, and translate those into well-scoped product investments.
  • Champion vision and investment on the basis of your conviction on the market opportunity within logistics.
  • Work with engineering and design to ship high-quality features on a regular cadence.
  • Define and track the metrics that signal product health and inform where to invest next.
  • Represent the Logistics product line to executive leadership and cross-functional partners, including driving quarterly PLRs (product line reviews) and other high-visibility leadership venues and cadences.
  • Excel at being a member of the product leaders team, contributing beyond your individual product line to move the entire business and industry forward.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years managing other PMs.
  • Demonstrated ability to own and ship products in B2B SaaS environments, ideally in logistics, supply chain, or operations software.
  • Strong product instincts: ability to move between strategic thinking and detailed execution without losing the thread.
  • Clear, direct communication - able to explain a tradeoff to an engineer and a business case to a VP in the same day.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to make good decisions with incomplete information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with complex integration or connectivity products.
  • Familiarity with EDI, TMS, WMS, or supply chain data workflows.

Location:

This role is open to 100% remote candidates. For those based in or near Minneapolis, a hybrid work model is also available with optional in-office presence at our Minneapolis office.
