These positions typically involve overseeing daily store operations, assisting with staff management, handling customer service issues, and ensuring sales goals are met. Common titles include assistant manager, shift supervisor, or department lead. They serve as a stepping stone to higher management roles and provide valuable hands-on experience in retail operations.
