They collaborate with food companies, restaurants, or research institutions to innovate and improve food offerings, often using virtual tools for communication and experimentation. This role requires a strong culinary background, creativity, and adaptability to work effectively from a distance. Remote Research Chefs may also be responsible for documenting their findings and sharing them with teams online. The position combines culinary artistry with scientific research and often involves keeping up with food trends and consumer preferences.
