The US Regional Account Manager

... will manage the Inrock client relations in the Southern region, and other clients as needed, and all aspects of business development. Will work closely with the US operations manager to ensure we have the necessary inventory to fulfill purchases. The position will report directly to the Inrock Regional Director.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the rest of the sales team to focus on areas of growth and key clients.
  • Develop sales strategy for identified accounts to generate new business and increase revenues.
  • Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Develop and maintain contact with key decision-makers within the customer base, including management representatives, engineers, drilling superintendents or other personnel within the customer's organization.
  • Review project information and customer equipment configuration to recommend optimum tooling solutions.
  • Maintain knowledge of current and new products through interaction with engineering, guidance service and operations personnel.
  • Prepare sales or service presentations or contracts for products or services.
  • Prepare quotes and sales orders for processing by operations personnel.
  • Provide technical information and training to clients as required.
  • Provide market analysis on opportunities for growth with new clients, product lines, and partnerships.
  • Attend trade shows and conferences as Inrocks representative.
  • Prepare sales reporting and/or call reports as required to indicate sales activity and historical data.
  • Monitor and report HDD drilling activity in the region.
  • Provide input as to changing market conditions so as to assist with input in marketing strategy.
  • Travel within assigned region on a regular basis to meet customers and visit customer projects.
  • Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) industry.
