Job description

We are seeking an experienced Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of manufactured housing communities and RV parks across Oregon. This is a dynamic, field-oriented leadership role suited for professionals who enjoy variety in their workday, regular travel, and hands-on engagement with people, properties, and operations. The successful candidate will provide operational oversight, remote supervision, and strategic support to onsite managers and caretakers while working closely with ownership and executive leadership.

This position requires frequent travel between properties, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across geographically dispersed locations. Candidates must be comfortable working independently, making sound operational judgments in the field, and communicating clearly with supervisors, vendors, staff, and residents.

Key Responsibilities:

The Regional Property Manager is responsible for the overall operational health of assigned communities. This includes conducting recurring site visits and inspections, supervising onsite managers and caretakers, and ensuring compliance with company policies, state regulations, and safety standards. The role requires preparation and submission of detailed monthly property health and inspection reports, including expense documentation, incident reporting, and operational summaries.

The position also involves close coordination with vendors and contractors, oversight of recurring maintenance services, and management of corrective actions when performance issues arise. The Regional Property Manager will solicit and evaluate vendor bids for capital and major repair projects, escalate significant maintenance or emergency matters, and coordinate emergency response efforts when necessary.

Training and development of onsite staff is a core function of this role. Responsibilities include training new managers, coaching existing staff, and ensuring consistent use of company management software, reporting templates, and lawful screening and rent collection practices. The Regional Property Manager serves as a key point of contact for payroll, HR coordination, and operational communication between the field and corporate leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in property management or other related fields
  • Familiarity with real estate contracts and leases (single family, residential, land-lease)
  • Ability to build rapport with tenants
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This role is well suited to individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, varied environment and enjoy working with people across multiple settings. Candidates should be comfortable balancing remote supervision with in-person property visits, and confident in providing guidance, corrective direction, and professional leadership. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage priorities across multiple sites are essential.

Applicants should have prior experience in property management, regional or multi-site supervision, or a closely related field. Proficiency with computers, cloud-based systems, and property management software is required, as is comfort working remotely and independently. Experience coordinating vendors, reviewing financial and operational reports, and supervising staff working at different locations is strongly preferred.

Travel is a required and regular component of this position. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. A background check is mandatory.

If this is a perfect fit for you, we look forward to hearing from you!
