Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ethical and compassionate individual counseling sessions via secure video chat, ensuring client confidentiality and comfort.
  • Employ solution-focused treatment modalities to facilitate effective therapy, adapting approaches based on client progress and feedback.
  • Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base predominantly consisting of stable, low-acuity adults. You will address a wide range of mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, stress management, and life transitions. Our goal is to provide a safe, inclusive environment where clients can express themselves freely and work towards achieving their mental health goals together.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
  • A fully unrestricted license to practice independently in Massachusetts is mandatory. Acceptable licenses include:
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
    • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
  • No provisional licenses or disciplinary actions against the candidate's professional standing.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a naturally empathetic demeanor to engage clients effectively.
  • Strong computer literacy skills, confidence in using digital platforms for consultations.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in teletherapy or remote counseling. Familiarity with electronic health records and telehealth platforms will be advantageous in our fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Philly Family Care Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 104,000 per year based on your working hours and caseload.
