  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere for open communication and healing.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support groups to help patients overcome common mental health challenges while fostering community support.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care, discussing progression and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide crisis intervention services, offering timely support and guidance during mental health emergencies.
  • Educate patients on mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery journey.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards through effective use of electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Contribute to team discussions through active participation in case consultations and team meetings, sharing insights and experiences to enhance collective knowledge.
  • Stay current with industry research and advancements in therapeutic techniques through continuous professional education.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At our center, we serve a diverse patient population that includes individuals from various backgrounds facing a wide array of mental health issues. Our patients range from children to adults, many experiencing challenges such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related concerns, and more. You will have the opportunity to engage with patients using culturally sensitive approaches to ensure that everyone receives personalized care that respects their unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required for this position.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LPC, LCSW, or equivalent) is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities and mental health disorders.
  • Proven skills in conducting assessments and developing effective treatment plans.
  • Experience providing therapeutic services to diverse populations, with flexibility in modality and approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build therapeutic rapport with patients.
  • Sound judgment, adherence to ethical standards, and readiness to uphold professional boundaries.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other relevant technologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with group facilitation and psychoeducational programming.
  • Keen interest in staying abreast of advancements in mental health therapy, particularly in the realm of outpatient services.
  • Prior work in an outpatient psychiatric office or similar mental health settings is advantageous.
