We are seeking a Full Time Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas! This is a remote based postiion.

Reporting to the Specialty Group Team Lead, the Customer Support Specialist is responsible for certain programs and the day-to-day upkeep of claims.

IPG works in the contiguous 48 states, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico handling a variety of claims including, but not limited to auto physical damage, inland marine cargo, dealers' open lot, property damage (commercial and homeowners) and general liability.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support for client claims

  • Maintains Claim Databases

  • Sets up all new claims within the required time frame

  • Answer all phone calls for client programs

  • Provides follow up to all open claims in client systems and claim files

  • Fills in on other programs when needed

  • Attends monthly team meetings

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience

  • 1-2 years relatable customer support experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred

Computer Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Competencies

  • Strong writing skills and proper use of grammar to document claim file notes clearly with all communications and activities that occur during of handling the claim.

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Strong Communicator (verbal and written)

  • Ability to multi-task and handle high volume of concurrent tasks

  • Work collaboratively with others inside and outside the company

Environment/Working Conditions:

  • Only US residents will be considered

  • Dynamic environment with tight deadlines, number and changing priorities

  • Office environment including prolonged periods of computer use

  • Remote working, but may be called into work in the office temporarily or permanently at any time

  • Hourly Rate of Pay: $17 USD per hour
