Remote Railroad Signal Maintainers are specialized technicians responsible for ensuring that railroad signaling systems function correctly, often monitoring and troubleshooting these systems remotely. They handle the installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of signal equipment, such as switches, lights, and crossing signals, to guarantee safe and efficient train movement. With advancements in technology, many of their tasks can be performed off-site using remote monitoring tools, but some on-site work is sometimes required for repairs or upgrades. They play a crucial role in preventing accidents and maintaining the safety and reliability of rail transport.

Company Overview

Thrive Financial is transforming how contractors grow their businesses. We partner with home improvement contractors nationwide by delivering fast, flexible fintech financing solutions that help close more sales, improve homeowner access to credit, and accelerate contractor growth. As a remote-first, high-growth company, we are building an elite sales organization that values ownership, execution, and long-term relationships.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced, well-connected Strategic Account Executive to drive market expansion by securing premier, high-volume contractor partnerships. Designed specifically for industry veterans with at least five years of outside sales experience and an established network in home improvement or consumer lending, this role gives you complete autonomy over your territory. You will leverage your existing book of business to hit the ground running, serving as a trusted advisor to top-tier contractors while scaling funded volume over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Capitalize on Your Network & Domain Expertise: Leverage Thrive's modern platform and full-spectrum lending solutions to solve the legacy pain points you and your contractor networks have faced for years.
  • Close Enterprise Partners: Own the full sales cycle for high-volume, strategic contractor accounts within your designated geographic territory.
  • Consultative Account Growth: Conduct strategic business reviews with contractor leadership, identifying opportunities to increase funded volume, maximize product adoption, and expand wallet share.
  • Retain & Scale: Maintain complete long-term ownership of every relationship you establish, driving retention and serving as an essential business partner.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Customer Success and Operations to ensure an elite, seamless financing experience for your high-value accounts.
  • Champion Thrive: Serve as a recognized vertical expert, taking the spotlight to lead key market segments while leveraging dedicated support structures to maximize your success.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of direct sales / business development experience in the unsecured home improvement lending industryย
  • Industry Expertise: Proven background specifically within home improvement financing, residential construction, or a closely related consumer lending sector.
  • Established Network: Active, transferable relationships and a strong book of business with regional or national home improvement contractors.
  • Proven Performance: A documented history of consistently crushing quotas and exceeding goals in a true "hunter" capacity.
  • Autonomy: Exceptional self-start capabilities to operate and scale a territory independently within a remote environment.
What We Offer
  • Highly competitive base salary + lucrative uncapped commission structure built for top industry earners.
  • Complete autonomy to manage and scale your geographic territory like your own business unit.
  • Equity options in a fast-growing, high momentum fintech startup.
  • Robust remote-work support, technology stipend, and comprehensive benefits.
$110,000 - $125,000 a year
ย This role is eligible for a lucrative, uncapped commission structure with high earning potential.ย
