This position is fully remote, providing flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to a dedicated team of mental health providers. You will engage with your colleagues virtually to share insights, strategies, and support, ensuring our approach remains holistic and client-centered. Our work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to adjust hours as necessary based on patient needs.

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments, gaining a thorough understanding of each patient's unique circumstances to tailor treatment plans effectively.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or mindfulness-based approaches, customized to meet the cultural and personal requirements of your clients.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that aim to address diverse mental health concerns, support emotional growth, and enhance coping skills.
• Collaborate across disciplines with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure that clients receive well-coordinated care tailored to their needs.
• Provide crisis intervention support, maintaining a calm and effective response during mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about specific mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them on their wellness journey.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.
• Actively engage in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training sessions to enhance professional skills and contribute to team dynamics.
• Stay updated on the latest research, best practices, and cultural considerations in mental health therapy to continually improve therapeutic efficacy.

Our practice serves a diverse patient population, including individuals from ethnic and cultural minorities, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrant families. This role is critical in delivering care that acknowledges and respects the unique experiences and challenges faced by these groups, contributing to their emotional and psychological well-being.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and a commitment to cultural competence in therapeutic practices.
• Proven experience in delivering both individual and group therapy, utilizing culturally responsive and inclusive methods.
• Demonstrated crisis intervention skills, with the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.
• A commitment to maintaining professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality within therapeutic relationships.
• A team-oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate effectively across a multidisciplinary team.

• Prior experience working in an outpatient mental health setting with culturally diverse populations.
• Interest in continuous professional development and staying abreast of advancements in mental health practices.
• Background in community outreach or public health initiatives would be beneficial.

The compensation for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
