As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health to identify concerns, formulate clinical diagnoses, and outline appropriate treatment plans tailored to their needs.
• Delivering individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapies that suit the unique goals of each client.
• Providing crisis intervention and immediate support to clients facing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization.
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential client records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments in compliance with ethical standards.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care strategies for enhanced client outcomes.
• Educating clients and their families about mental health issues, empowering them with knowledge on treatment options, coping mechanisms, and community resources.
• Engaging in continuous education and training to remain current with best practices, enhancing both personal and professional growth.

Your role will focus on a wide range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families who present with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship challenges, and more. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, LCSW) in Tennessee.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated competency in clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, complemented by a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical counseling setting.
