Position Overview

Rooted Life LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time capacity. Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, providing the flexibility needed for a healthy work-life balance, while also offering opportunities to meet clients in our outpatient office environment when necessary. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for individuals, their family members, and significant others, utilizing various methods including testing, interviews, and observations.
• Develop, implement, and regularly assess individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient records in compliance with facility and licensing standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient management.
• Participate in weekly clinical meetings to discuss patient progress and share insights with the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide crisis counseling as necessary, alongside outreach services to various community settings, including schools and homes, ensuring a wide reach for support.
• Facilitate specialized counseling groups addressing issues such as adjustment to illness and parenting, ensuring each session is evidence-based and responsive to participant needs.
• Contribute to the development of facility initiatives aimed at improving therapeutic practices and community engagement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will work with a diverse client population, addressing complex emotional and psychological issues that arise within family dynamics and individual circumstances. Our clients range from children and adolescents dealing with developmental challenges to adults facing relationship issues, grief, and mental health disorders. The therapist's ability to connect with and understand varied experiences is essential in fostering genuine therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in psychology, social work, or behavioral science is required.
• Current licensure as an LMFT in the state of Florida is mandatory.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and strong documentation skills are essential.
• Certification in one or more treatment modalities is required to enhance therapeutic services.
• CPR certification is necessary to ensure the safety of clients in crisis situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are crucial for this role.
• The ability to function independently while being a collaborative team member in a multidisciplinary environment is expected.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience post-licensure is preferred, with specific experience in medical social work being highly desirable.
• Experience in community outreach and implementation of group therapy sessions enhances a candidate's fit for this position.

Compensation and Benefits

Rooted Life LLC offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
