About Us
The Persimmon Group is a management consulting firm specializing in leadership, strategy, and project management/strategy execution. You can think of us as the "Special Ops" of consulting. Over our nearly two decades of operation, we've developed a reputation for helping solve our customer's toughest problems with speed, precision, and impact-even amid rapid change and high uncertainty.
We are driven to help companies work smarter not harder, and we couldn't do that without our incredibly talented team of project management experts.
Seeking Senior Project Managers and Program Managers
Our team is growing! We have multiple positions open for senior-level project managers and program managers in the Information Technology space. Our PM's support various project types, including:
  • Software development or implementation
  • Infrastructure projects
  • IT Security initiatives
  • Digital transformation programs
  • Business process improvement programs
  • Data migration projects

Our consultants work in a variety of industries, including energy, financial services, aerospace, manufacturing, education, healthcare, and technology innovation.
At Persimmon, senior-level PMs are responsible to lead our most complex efforts, typically enterprise-wide programs or initiatives impacting many stakeholders, functions, and processes.
Qualifications
Here is what we look for in an ideal candidate; however, be aware that you could be an excellent candidate without meeting all of these criteria.
  • 7-10+ years overall Project Management experience
  • 3+ years leading complex, enterprise-wide projects or programs
  • Experience working with or as a Business Analyst to gather requirements, capture current state/future state business processes, etc.
  • Ability to manage complex schedules in Microsoft Project, track budget performance, and develop forecasts
  • Ability to simplify and streamline schedule, budget, and status information to stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to manage mixed teams of customer, vendor, and partner stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Experience developing or contributing to the development of a thorough RFP package

Why Work at Persimmon?
Our organization attracts people who want to learn fast, work with purpose, and innovate...all in a collaborative, supportive environment. We believe that you can be a Rockstar and a member of the band at the same time, and that asking for help is a strength, not a weakness.
We have built a culture of open, honest, supportive feedback so we can coach each other to achieve more than we could alone. Persimmon is a place where your voice matters because we believe we work with each other, not for each other.
As a member of our PM Community of Practice, you will work side-by-side with project management practitioners spanning multiple industries and experience levels, at a company that will invest heavily in your growth and development.
You can read more about our company, our team, our mission, and our culture here.
