A Remote Project Coordinator is a professional responsible for organizing, managing, and tracking the progress of projects while working outside of a traditional office setting, usually from home or another remote location. They communicate with team members, schedule meetings, track deadlines, and ensure that project objectives are met on time and within budget. Remote Project Coordinators use digital tools and platforms to facilitate collaboration and maintain clear communication among all stakeholders, making them essential for distributed or virtual teams.

What does a remote project coordinator do?

A remote project coordinator works to oversee and lead a project management team. Your duties in this position include ensuring that project goals are accomplished and that the team has what they need to meet their deadline. You work with a project manager on planning specific aspects of the project, and you communicate with team members via the internet or on a project management site such as Basecamp or Asana. These skills and qualifications are vital for ensuring projects stay on track and stakeholders remain aligned despite working remotely.
