Job description

Job Purpose

The primary focus of the Project Manager (PM) - Kyriba is to provide operational leadership in delivering solutions for software implementation, business process engineering, and consulting services for the client's treasury management related functions.

The PM will work closely with Nitor clients, Delivery leads, and Project teams to manage project planning, stakeholder engagement, resource planning, implementation, and deployment activities, typically expected in a Kyriba implementation project.

The PM will also provide services in baseline and data analysis, market research, strategy development, and business planning. Throughout these activities, the PM will deliver presentations to clients, including project kickoffs, status reports, RAID logs, and project escalations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Services Management

  • Apply a structured approach and methodology for execution of relevant services
  • Drive continuous improvement in services delivery
  • Manage and maintain project quality and performance standards

Resource Management

  • Track time accurately representative of work being performed
  • Review and approve time submitted against project budget; ensure accuracy in tracking against milestones and identify any misalignment to budget/expectations
  • Maintain oversight of project resources and communicate observations to the resources themselves and management to facilitate continuous improvement.

Project Management

  • Facilitate relevant workshops/sessions with clients using prepared presentation material
  • Complete applicable documentation and artifacts required to achieve key deliverables as specified in a Statement of Work
  • Facilitate effective communication within the project team, fostering a positive work environment
  • Drive resolution of risks, gaps, issues, action items and/or roadblocks for overall project success
  • Provide analysis and support for efficient and accurate decision-making
  • Support and document continuous process improvement strategies throughout the lifecycle of the project; implement course correction plans, collaborating with Leadership if necessary
  • Manage integrated, multi-track project schedules (i.e., multiple parties involved, multiple workstreams, multiples phases/modules, etc.) considering impacts/dependencies of relevant efforts that are outside of Nitor's scope
  • Capture and monitor project health against delivery KPIs on a regular basis
  • Monitor project resource allocations to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs; escalate to Project Leadership as needed
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed; escalate issues as necessary based on project work plans

Customer Management

  • Advise and/or coach clients on industry best practices, insights from past experiences, and make recommendations
  • Understand and support client objectives and/or business case metrics

People Management

  • Obtain and/or maintain certifications and remain up to date on knowledge for applicable areas of expertise
  • Keep direct supervisor up to date on work being performed, allocation across activities, and ad hoc requests; escalate any concerns or needs

Cross-Functional Involvement

  • Support business development efforts as a subject matter expert as requested
  • Foster and manage relationships with customers, software partner services, and other relevant third parties


Qualifications, Education and Experience

Necessary and desirable qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management for Kyriba implementation
  • 4+ years of experience in Management Consulting
  • Bachelor's in IT, Business or Treasury or related field
  • Master's in Business Administration is preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
  • Hands-on experience leading software implementations
  • Proven success working with all levels of management, internal and client
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, JIRA, Kantata, other project management tools
  • Experience developing in-house platforms for internal processes
  • Experience coaching and educating project teams to strengthen team members' capabilities and skill sets.

Working Conditions

Working conditions are normal for an office environment with remote work. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. Work may require some weekend and evening work.

Physical Requirements
