Job Description RCS Staffing has an immediate need for an NDE Technician VT Level III in Lynchburg, VA or Remote (with travel). This is a full-time direct-hire Office Based/Remote assignment with our client. This position offers a competitive package including benefits, vacation and holidays.

Anticipate engaging and challenging projects that deliver innovative solutions and value-added technologies helping power more than 38 million North American homes. As an NDE Technician VT Level III YOU will: Inspect, repair and rebuild mechanical and/or electrical equipment and associated structures Ensure that industrial and radiation safety requirements are followed Analyze equipment breakdowns, determine the proper corrective action, and direct repairs Plan work schedules to accomplish required work and, when required, assign priorities Develop, implement and maintain in-service inspection, testing and maintenance programs Support and conduct nondestructive examination (NDE) and QC inspections Research, interpret and explain inspection results Maintain documentation to meet customer obligations and ensure proper test methodologies are in place Comply with all applicable safety and health rules including personal dose compliance Work flexible hours and shifts, as required, to ensure timely service Travel extensively to a variety of regional and remote job sites Obtain and maintain unescorted nuclear site access YOU are the ideal NDE Technician VT Level III candidate if you have: High School diploma or equivalent education Minimum of 18 years of related experience and NDE Advanced Technician requisites (required) NDE Advanced Technician requisites met: NDE Technician - Must record all experience gained, be Level II in at least 2 disciplines and Level III in 1 discipline Leadership - Should have demonstrated leadership experience or training, filled a leadership role Expert knowledge of commonly used equipment, practices, procedures and concepts in a particular field Specific nuclear reactor plant maintenance qualification training and certification (typically required) Knowledge of company and industry safety and health policies and programs Good communication skills to comprehend, follow direction, convey detailed technical data and work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers Ability to work flexible hours and shifts as required Willingness to travel extensively to regional and remote job sites It's a BONUS if you have: Additional NDE certifications beyond minimum requirements Experience with multiple nuclear plant sites Advanced leadership training or certifications Knowledge of nuclear industry standards and regulations About Our CLIENT Our client is a global leader in the nuclear energy industry, designing and supplying equipment, services, and fuel for hundreds of reactors worldwide.
