Job description

Overview

Apogee has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Acquisition Support Manager that leads acquisition planning and execution support, including development of PWSs and IGCEs, evaluation of task order proposals, and oversight of task order execution, funding, and milestones.

Responsibilities
  • Draft and refine acquisition documents, including Performance Work Statements (PWS), Statements of Objectives (SOO), and related artifacts.
  • Develop Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) and support cost/price reasonableness assessments.
  • Support evaluation of task order proposals, including technical, management, and cost factors.
  • Monitor task order execution, track funding allocations, and support real-time execution decisions.
  • Support administrative management and lifecycle milestone reviews for ongoing contracts.
  • Produce the monthly Acquisition Posture Report documenting progress on contracting actions.
Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCIEducation / Years of Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Acquisition, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in government or defense acquisition, contracts management, or program management.
  • Strong knowledge of DoD/IC acquisition processes, FAR/DFARS, and task order management.
  • Experience developing PWSs, IGCEs, and evaluation criteria for competitive procurements.
  • Proven ability to track funding, execution status, and contract performance metrics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DAWIA/DAU or equivalent acquisition certifications (e.g., Contracting, Program Management, or Financial Management).
  • Experience supporting R&D and production contracts in intelligence or advanced technology programs.
  • Familiarity with NASIC, acquisition needs and processes.
  • Experience with PPBE and integration of acquisition planning with budget processes.
