Our direct client has an opening for a Salesforce Program Manager position # 755575.  This position is for 12+ months, with option of extension, and will be worked remotely.

IMPORTANT:
  • This is a HIGHLY visible role.
  • Candidates MUST have exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Candidates MUST have experience as an established PROGRAM Management - as this resource will be building out the Agile SAFe Practice within the agency. 
  • Candidates MUST also have the specific experience working as a PROJECT Manager utilizing SAFe practices supporting Salesforce application development projects.
 
Description:
Responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to assess and align management, business, and IT resources required to meet requirements and deliverables for medium to large-scale projects within the DHHS salesforce Portfolio.
  • Train and Coach agency staff and team members on agile and Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise (SAFe) practices.
  • Develop project plans, with defined timelines, deliverables, etc. to effectively and efficiently meet requirements that insure successful completion of deployments and implementation of IT solutions for program and agency-wide projects.
  • Capture and report required program management metrics
  • Monitor project milestones to ensure alignment with defined timelines and deliverables.
  • Actively manage multiple DHHS program portfolio activities running in parallel.
  • Monitor and, where necessary, recommend courses of action for any portfolio project activities that are at risk, deficient, or not compliant with regulations or requirements.
  • Schedule, facilitate, and document results of project meetings, work sessions, etc.
  • Provide scheduled and ongoing reporting to key stakeholders on project status, milestones, and deliverables.  
  • Engage key stakeholders when portfolio project deliverables are at risk and recommend courses of action required to mitigate project risk.
  • Collaborate with State agencies and DoIT project managers to develop, monitor, and report on various project within the pipeline portfolio.
  • Facilitate scrum of scrums across multiple teams working with the same salesforce Organization

Skills and Technologies:
  • SalesForce, Agile SCRUM.  Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise (SAFe) Additionally, Copado experience is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Lead Analyst, Admin, or Developer.
  • 4 years of experience in Agile and SAFe Methodology.
  • 4 years of Program Management experience.
  • 4 years of Project management experience.
  • 4 years of experience with customer relationship management processes and systems.
  • Excellent oral and written comprehension/communication skills.
  • Very strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and prioritize workload to meet deadlines for the team.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification required.

Highly Preferred experience: Copado, Public Sector Solutions

Required/Desired Skills:
  • Established experience as an IT PROGRAM Manager - Required - 4 Years
  • IT PROJECT Management experience - Required - 4 Years
  • IT PM experience specifically using Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise (SAFe) Methodology - Required - 4 Years

  • Exceptional oral and written comprehension/communication skills and attention to detail are CRITICAL for this role - Required - 4 Years
  • Experience with Salesforce application development projects - Required - 4 Years
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (dates certifications were obtained must be listed on resume) - Required - 4 Years
