Kentro is hiring for a remote Program Analyst to support our Veterans Affairs ESOM contract. The Program Analyst supports program oversight and operational effectiveness across the CMDB and Change Control transition workstreams. This role evaluates program performance, analyzes operational data, and produces reporting that enables leadership to assess progress and make informed decisions.

Location: This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours; occasional travel to VA sites as required.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, analyze, and evaluate the effectiveness of operating programs and business processes within the CMDB and Change Control transition.
  • Use source data to assess program performance and identify areas requiring corrective action or process improvement.
  • Apply qualitative and quantitative analytical methods to evaluate operational effectiveness across transition workstreams.
  • Manipulate and organize program data to produce status reports and dashboards for Kentro and VA leadership.
  • Develop recommendations for improving business processes and present findings clearly to program stakeholders.
  • Support the Senior Program Analyst in tracking key milestones, deliverables, and program metrics throughout the transition.
  • Assist with documentation of program status, risks, and decisions to maintain an accurate program record.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of program analysis experience on federal IT contracts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent. An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the education requirement for a total of 13+ years of relevant experience. 
  • Demonstrated ability to use source data to evaluate program and operational effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow reporting, dashboards, or SPM for program tracking purposes.
  • Proficiency with qualitative and quantitative analytical methods; ability to synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong data manipulation skills using Microsoft Excel or similar tools; experience producing program status reports.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience on VA IT programs or within a Department of Veterans Affairs contract.
  • Experience supporting CMDB, ITSM, or Change Management transition efforts.
  • PMI or IIBA entry-level certification, or equivalent coursework.

  • US Citizen or Green card holder
  • Willing and able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
