Job description

Position title: Program Management SME/Analyst

Location: Remote

Clearance required: TOP SECRET with SCI eligibility

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide comprehensive program management analysis and financial management support for SOF peculiar unmanned systems (UxS) programs.
  • Conduct programmatic assessments, schedule analyses, cost evaluations, and risk reviews to inform decision making and ensure alignment with mission objectives.
  • Track and evaluate program performance metrics, cost data, and funding execution to support effective resource planning and budget management.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across the SOF enterprise including program offices, operational units, engineering teams, and logistics personnel to support the planning, execution, fielding, and sustainment of UxS capabilities.
  • Support the development of acquisition documentation, program briefs, milestone reviews, and decision support materials.
  • Identify program risks, issues, and dependencies; provide recommendations and mitigation strategies to leadership.
  • Assist with requirements analysis, capability development, and integration planning for emerging UxS technologies.
  • Ensure all program activities adhere to applicable policies, regulations, and requirements.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in program analysis, program management, or a related field within the DoD.
  • Minimum 5 years working at NAVSPECWARCOM and/or USSOCOM, its component commands, or other SOF organizations.
  • Knowledge of the DoD acquisition process and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) system.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field such as Business Management, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline.
  • Certified as a Defense Financial Management (CDFM), or equivalent.
