Contemporaries is seeking an experienced Program Analyst to support a long-term federal program supporting tobacco regulatory commissioning activities. This position will assist with the planning, coordination, documentation, and execution of commissioning initiatives while working closely with program leadership, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure projects remain on schedule and aligned with organizational priorities. This role is expected to be remote, with occasional visits to the Virginia office.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate planning and execution of commissioning activities supporting tobacco regulatory programs.
- Develop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflows, guidance documents, and program documentation.
- Coordinate with program offices, subject matter experts, and internal stakeholders to facilitate project activities and ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Track project schedules, action items, deliverables, and program metrics while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Prepare written status reports, meeting summaries, and project updates for leadership.
- Support implementation of new commissioning processes, procedures, and organizational initiatives.
- Assist with change management activities related to new systems, policies, and operational improvements.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays requiring management attention.
- Maintain organized program records and ensure documentation remains current and compliant.
- Support special projects and other program management activities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS).
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting a federal program in a Program Analyst, Program Specialist, Project Coordinator, Management Analyst, or similar role.
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting the FDA Center for Tobacco Products (CTP), the Virginia Tobacco Commission, or a closely related tobacco regulatory organization or program.
- Experience developing or maintaining SOPs, workflows, policies, or other program documentation.
- Experience coordinating projects across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience preparing status reports, tracking deliverables, and monitoring project milestones.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting FDA or HHS contracts.
- Experience with regulatory programs or public health initiatives.
- Experience supporting organizational change management initiatives.
- Experience improving business processes or workflow documentation.
