This role operates in a fully remote telehealth setting, enabling counselors to deliver services through a secure video chat platform. As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Provide individual counseling sessions via video chat, utilizing a structured therapeutic approach to help clients improve their mental well-being.
• Facilitate discussions that encourage clients to explore their emotions, experiences, and thoughts, fostering self-awareness and insight.
• Act as a dedicated advocate for clients, guiding them in the definition and pursuit of personal goals through collaborative treatment planning.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mental health conditions and develop tailored treatment plans, implementing evidence-based strategies drawn from your clinical expertise.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and any changes to treatment plans in compliance with state regulations.

The clients you will serve are carefully screened to ensure they are suitable for telehealth services. You will primarily work with stable adults seeking support with low-acuity mental health issues. This thoughtful client matching process aligns you with individuals whose needs and demographic profiles fit your areas of specialization, ensuring a productive therapeutic relationship.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid and unrestricted state license to practice as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong interpersonal skills, a compassionate demeanor, and the ability to establish rapport with clients.
