Adorn Life Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. This position is fully remote, granting you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance while delivering essential services from the comfort of your own home. Our organization utilizes advanced telehealth technologies to ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members and patients. You will be expected to manage your schedule primarily between Mondays and Fridays, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, while maintaining some flexibility to best meet patient needs.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that are culturally sensitive and tailored to understand each patient's unique experiences.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring that they are responsive to the cultural and personal backgrounds of the patients.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to address a variety of mental health concerns, enhancing patient resilience and well-being.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, ensuring patients receive timely and effective support.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to promote informed decision-making.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with ethical and legal requirements.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development sessions to improve skills and share cultural competency knowledge.
• Stay informed of current research and best practices in mental health treatment, continuously integrating this knowledge into your work.

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds, LGBTQ+ communities, and immigrant populations who often face unique mental health challenges. This diversity emphasizes the need for culturally competent care, where understanding cultural contexts enhances the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, particularly those that highlight cultural competency.
• Prior experience in delivering individual and group therapy, employing inclusive strategies that resonate with diverse populations.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to manage stress effectively during challenging situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage and build rapport with diverse individuals.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer proficiency for maintaining patient documentation and management tasks.
• A commitment to upholding ethical guidelines, maintaining professional boundaries, and ensuring patient confidentiality.
• The capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Demonstrated history of working in multicultural settings and an understanding of the specific mental health needs within various cultural communities.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and providing remote therapy sessions effectively.
