Job description

Senior Analytics Data Engineer (Tableau / Python)
Remote – U.S. based
Contract, full-time (40 hrs/week)
Duration: 12 months + multi-year extension

Overview
Senior Analytics Data Engineer needed to support an enterprise data warehouse and analytics environment. This role combines strong Tableau dashboard development with hands-on Python and SQL work. It is delivery-focused and operates within a structured, regulated environment.  This is not a front-end–only BI role.

Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and enterprise reports
• Build and support analytical datasets used for operational and regulatory reporting
• Perform data transformations and validation using Python
• Write and debug complex SQL against large data warehouse platforms
• Partner with data engineers, architects, SMEs, QA, and PMs
• Support reporting solutions requiring high accuracy and audit readiness

Required Skills
• 7+ years in analytics, BI, or data engineering roles
• Strong Tableau development experience
• Hands-on Python for data transformation (not just orchestration)
• Advanced SQL skills
• Experience with enterprise data warehouses
• Comfortable in regulated or compliance-driven environments

Preferred
• Cloud data platforms (Azure, Databricks, Synapse, Snowflake, etc.)
• Healthcare, government, or regulated industry experience
