Job description

ROLE OVERVIEW

Axyra is seeking a PMO / Program Governance Analyst to support governance and delivery-tracking activities on a client engagement. This role works independently within a standard, well-defined scope — maintaining governance artifacts, tracking deliverables, and supporting program-level reporting. Some exposure to the insurance/annuity domain is expected; deep specialization is not required, as domain depth will build on the engagement.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

Reports to: Program Director / Engagement Lead (assigned per client engagement).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain program governance artifacts — RAID logs, status reports, decision logs, and meeting minutes — within an assigned, well-defined scope.
  • Track workstream deliverables, milestones, and dependencies against the program plan, flagging schedule or scope variances.
  • Support program-level reporting and executive status updates under the direction of the Program Director / Engagement Lead.
  • Coordinate governance cadence — steering committee, working sessions, status meetings — including scheduling, agendas, and documentation.
  • Apply established Axyra PMO templates and standards consistently across workstreams.
  • Monitor action items and decisions to closure, escalating stalled items to engagement leadership.
  • Support resource and financial tracking (utilization, budget-to-actual) as directed.
  • Build working knowledge of insurance/annuity program structures and terminology as it relates to governance reporting.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–6 years of experience in PMO, program governance, project coordination, or a related delivery-support role.
  • Working knowledge of program governance artifacts and cadence (RAID logs, status reporting, steering committee support).
  • Some exposure to insurance and/or annuity programs or terminology; deep domain specialization is not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on well-defined, standard-scope governance tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; comfortable managing multiple concurrent tracking artifacts.
  • Strong written communication skills, including polished, executive-ready status reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, particularly Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) and PowerPoint (executive-ready presentations)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with PMO tooling (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, Planview).
  • Experience supporting technology transformation or system implementation programs.
  • Exposure to insurance/annuity delivery programs specifically.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery governance.
