• Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations to identify clients' unique mental health needs, facilitating the formulation of personalized treatment plans tailored to their goals and challenges.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy services in individual and group settings, employing varied therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and family systems therapy.
• Collaborate effectively with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses both mental and physical health concerns.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, utilizing active listening and de-escalation strategies while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to enhance mental health awareness, provide educational sessions, and advocate for reduced stigma associated with mental wellness.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals from various cultural, socioeconomic, and psychological backgrounds. Through our hospice center facility, you will offer compassionate mental health support to clients and families facing life-limiting illnesses, grief, and adjustment challenges. Your role will inherently contribute to the holistic care approach that honors the emotional well-being of all clients.

• A valid and active independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A completed master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate rapport with a broad spectrum of clients.
• A profound understanding of cultural diversity and sensitivity, effectively engaging with individuals from varied backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ensuring timely and accurate clinical documentation and progress notes.

• Experience in delivering therapy services in a hospice or palliative care setting is highly preferred.
• Previous involvement in outreach programs and community engagement initiatives that promote mental health awareness.
