Security Specialist, Senior
The Opportunity:
Provide General Intelligence Security (GIS) oversight and support to the states, territories, and District of Columbia. Provide support services that support and enhance the ability to administer oversight and compliance pertaining to personnel security, information security, industrial security, communication security, foreign disclosure, and sensitive compartmented information programs. Conduct development, planning, scheduling, coordinating, training, monitoring, and communication. Assist with site assistance visits (SAV).
You Have:
  • Experience supporting Personnel Security (PERSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) GIS programs by providing comprehensive risk management and security services to the Army
  • Experience with System Authorization Access Request Forms (SAAR) in Army Enterprise System Integration Program (AESIP), Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM), General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), and Account Management and Provisioning System (AMPS) systems
  • Experience submitting Personnel Security Investigation Portal (PSIP) forms for new security clearance requirements, clearance upgrades, and continuous vetting requirements for all Active Guard Reserve (AGR), Active Duty Operational Support (ADOS), and CIV staff
  • Experience supporting INFOSEC requirements associated with access and oversight of secure work environments within a facility
  • Experience with Security Classification Guides (SCG), the DoD Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Registry, and the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) for classification reviews
  • Experience in security incident response, providing guidance and assisting in resolution of security incidents and infractions
  • Experience in database functions, including DISS, NISS, and NIST databases
  • Knowledge of clearance processing, document control, personnel security, and Automated Information System Security
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience supporting the federal government, the Intelligence Community (IC), and the Department of Defense (DoD)
  • Experience in the Department of the Army or Army National Guard Information Security field, including engagement with senior leadership
  • Experience requesting courier cards
  • Experience defining the requirements for classified briefings, trainings, meetings, and conferences
  • Experience supporting the drafting of security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and military Memorandum of Records
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications, including MS Office and MS Project

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
