Job Description
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong AWS Cloud expertise to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure for enterprise-grade applications. You will build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and ensure high availability, reliability, and observability of cloud-based workloads across dev, test, and production environments.
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision, version-control, and maintain AWS environments.
  • Provision, manage, and optimize multiple AWS environments (DEV, TEST, PROD) for availability, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of cloud-based applications and services.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third-party tools) for proactive incident detection and resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with development and architecture teams to streamline deployment processes, enforce standards, and reduce release lead time.
  • Apply AWS networking and security best practices (VPC, subnets, route tables, security groups, IAM, KMS).
  • Support DevSecOps and observability practices, including secrets management, compliance, and performance tuning.
Required Skills & Expertise
Mandatory Skills (AWS DevOps Services)
  • Strong, hands-on experience with the AWS Cloud platform.
  • Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure automation and IaC management.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline).
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS networking and security best practices (VPC, security groups, IAM, KMS, compliance basics).
  • Good understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework (reliability, security, performance efficiency, cost optimization, operational excellence).
Core AWS Services Experience
  • Networking: VPC, subnets, route tables, security groups.
  • Compute / Containers: ECS, ECR, Lambda, and containerized workloads.
  • Load Balancing: API Gateway, ALB, ELB.
  • Storage & Databases: S3, RDS.
  • Security: KMS, IAM, least-privilege design.
  • Monitoring: CloudWatch (metrics, logs, alarms).
  • Content & Networking Delivery: Route 53, CloudFront.
  • IoT Services (Nice-to-have context): IoT Core, IoT SiteWise, IoT Greengrass.
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience with container orchestration (ECS, Fargate, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to DevSecOps practices (security-shift-left, secrets management, image scanning, policy-as-code).
  • Experience designing and operating multi-account AWS architectures and governance frameworks (Control Tower, Organizations, SSO, central logging/monitoring).
Soft Skills
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with development, SRE, and security teams.
  • Ability to document and evangelize AWS best practices and DevOps patterns.
