Job description

Senior Pega Developer

Location: Remote

6 month contract with possible extension

Qualifications & Requirements:

This is for Pega Certified Senior System Architect or Pega Certified System Architect (more Junior). Senior preferred.

Work hours (ex. 9am-5pm day/night shifts rotating shifts etc)?

8am 5pm ET

Project:

We are working to transition and existing Pega application to the Cosmos Design System followed by process design. This application will also be transitioning to Azure cloud once the Cosmos design work is completed. *** What experience will set candidates apart from one another?

Solid Pega process flow and UI developer, Agile Scrum, can work independently.

Please describe the team the candidate will be working with how many members? There are 5 developers (3 India/2 US), 3 QE a scrum master, LBA and Product Owner

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position (please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)?

Take ownership of user stories to transition existing Pega 8.5 UIKit screens to Cosmos Theme and ensure that Cosmos templates and best practices are followed

Ensure complete and thorough unit testing

Participate in daily developer team collaboration sessions and follow the lead of the LSA

Work with QE team ensure complete testing and test automation development

What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background specific industry experience etc.)? 2+ years Pega user interaction flow development and testing. Pega Certification preferred

What skills/attributes are required (please be detailed as to number of years of experience for each skill)? What skills/attributes are preferred (what will set a candidate apart)? Solid Pega UI development experience and skills, including flows, local flow actions and business logic relative to user experience

Solid Unit Testing Discipline experience with Pega branching will educate on Cosmos and the standards being followed using kubernetes on prem cloud infrastructure. Will familiarize candidates how to use to perform responsibilities as needed

What will the interview process look like? (Video phone or in person? How many rounds? How technical will the interviews be?) Interview will be webex/teams via video including the Delivery Lead and the LSA. Anticipating 30 mins.
