This role is fully remote, utilizing telehealth platforms to connect with clients throughout Rancho Cucamonga, California, and beyond. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the needs, strengths, and goals of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.
• Deliver individual counseling sessions using motivational interviewing techniques and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) approaches, effectively guiding clients through their recovery process.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that provide a supportive environment for individuals to share experiences and learn from one another.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated and coordinated care approach, enhancing patient outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention and support in emergency situations involving substance-related challenges.
• Educate patients and their families regarding addiction, recovery strategies, and community resources available for continued support.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that complies with all relevant legal and ethical standards.
• Participate proactively in team meetings, case consultations, and opportunities for professional development to continually enhance your practice.
• Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and advancements in the field of substance use disorder treatment to elevate the quality of care provided.

Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with substance use disorders, ranging from those in early recovery to those seeking ongoing support and relapse prevention strategies. Our clients often struggle with the multifaceted challenges of addiction, and your role will be instrumental in their journey towards healthier lives. Building strong therapeutic relationships based on trust, empathy, and understanding will be crucial for fostering resilience and encouraging lasting recovery.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Comprehensive knowledge of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and recovery-oriented practices.
• Demonstrated experience delivering both individual and group therapy in the context of addiction treatment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a non-judgmental and empathetic approach.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries while ensuring patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
