The Growth Mindset Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in providing remote therapeutic services for individuals in a detox setting. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify clients' mental health strengths, needs, and goals.
  • Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the individual treatment goals of clients, ensuring continuity of care throughout their detoxification process.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that engage clients in their treatment and promote community and peer support.
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to coordinate care that addresses all facets of the client's well-being.
  • Advocate for client rights and help them navigate available community resources, support services, and preventative measures.
  • Document all client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
  • Engage in regular team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and share best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The client population you will serve primarily consists of individuals undergoing detoxification from substance use disorders. Many clients face concurrent mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. You will help these individuals employ coping strategies and navigate the emotional landscape associated with recovery, fostering resilience and personal growth.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in providing clinical social work services, preferably in a mental health or substance use recovery setting.
  • Proven proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing tailored treatment plans.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience
