Healthy Minds Psychotherapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our innovative team in a remote capacity. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week remote position, designed to offer flexibility while maintaining a structured Monday to Friday schedule. • Conduct comprehensive assessments for patients, evaluating their strengths, challenges, and emotional well-being to develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s needs, ensuring effective intervention and support.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group counseling sessions, fostering an environment that encourages openness and healing.
• Coordinate with community resources and educational institutions to streamline services for students and their families.
• Implement psychological interventions aimed at helping clients achieve their goals, adjusting approaches based on ongoing evaluations.
• Provide crisis intervention support, including documentation and follow-up care, to address immediate client needs.
• Engage with families and clients via phone consultations, ensuring ongoing support and guidance outside of scheduled sessions.
• Maintain current licensure and adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of practice.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to share insights on patient progress and develop strategies for continued improvement.

Our primary focus centers on school-aged children and adolescents who may be grappling with emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges. You will work with a diverse population, including students from various backgrounds and circumstances, requiring an empathetic, culturally competent approach. Engaging with students and families, you will strive to promote resilience, enhance communication, and support overall mental health in the school environment.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• California BBS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association (AHA BLS Healthcare).
• Strong organizational and critical-thinking skills for effective case management.
• Proficiency in assessment, interviewing, and comprehensive counseling techniques.

• At least 2 years of experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably within an educational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with children and adolescents, and their families.
• Experience in developing and implementing therapeutic programs focusing on chronic disease management or treatment of mental health issues.
