About the Role


We are looking for a Senior Scheduler who can support multiple project schedules (Primavera P6). Construction experience in Life Science projects is essential. This is an onsite assignment in Northern California.


We will be developing schedules for a portfolio of projects into an Integrated Project Schedule. The scopes will include civil, structural, mechanical, process piping, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, automation systems, commissioning & validation, regulatory, and product commercialization.


Responsibilities


  • Develop schedule architecture and baseline for Integrated Project Schedules (IPS), including multiple scopes across multiple organizations
  • Ensure schedules are developed in compliance with corporate and department requirements
  • Versatile people skills, from the field foreman to the vice president
  • Provides technical support and mentoring to other team members
  • Manage and directly support the schedule update process
  • Perform what-if schedule scenarios, advanced schedule analysis, and variance analysis reports
  • Manage schedule changes, analyze change impact, and perform forensic schedule analysis
  • Summarize schedule status in a narrative and create status reports and presentations for management
  • Perform resource planning and optimization
  • Perform EVM and analysis
  • Performs as the schedule lead and facilitates schedule meetings
  • Produce schedule reports and analysis
  • Develops schedule related processes, procedures, and training
  • Perform schedule risk analysis


Qualifications


  • Strong communication and presentation capabilities: written and verbal
  • Demonstrate a team spirit and strong dedication to success of the team
  • Multiple large-scale complex project experience, $100MM+
  • Advanced knowledge in the construction of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Experience with field planning and progressing
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in Primavera P6
  • This is an onsite assignment with potential for hybrid in the future

Education and Training


  • Relevant Construction Experience 10+ years
  • Primavera Experience 5+ years
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Any certification from PMI or AACE is beneficial
