Mindful Motion Counseling Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in providing high-quality mental health care. This remote position allows you to perform your duties in a comfortable and flexible setting. Utilizing telehealth technology, you will conduct sessions via secure video conferencing software, ensuring a safe and confidential atmosphere for clients. Collaborating closely with colleagues, you will have access to ongoing support and supervision to enhance your skills and professional growth.

• Conduct thorough intake assessments for new clients to evaluate their mental health concerns and treatment readiness.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs and circumstances of each client.
• Provide ongoing psychotherapy and counseling sessions, adjusting treatment modalities as necessary to ensure effective care.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records, documenting progress and any modifications to treatment strategies.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in therapeutic techniques and mental health trends to enhance service delivery.
• Foster a warm and welcoming environment during sessions to encourage open dialogue and client engagement.
• Make referrals to additional mental health professionals or resources when more specialized care is required.

Our practice serves a diverse clientele, including teenagers, adults, and families facing a wide range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal relationship issues. Our commitment to cultural competency ensures that every client receives care tailored to their unique background and personal experiences.

• A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Professional Counselor in the state of Texas, as dictated by state regulations.
• Proficiency in establishing rapport with clients and creating a trustworthy relationship.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly and compassionately.
• Ability to assess client needs and tailor treatment plans effectively.

• Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling services is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Previous work in community mental health settings or outpatient treatment facilities.

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
