Position Overview

Solace Behavioral Health Center is seeking compassionate and skilled licensed mental health therapists to join our dynamic team as full-time telehealth providers. In this role, you will engage with patients remotely, delivering high-quality mental health care tailored to individual needs. Your expertise will help us to provide effective treatment to individuals facing various mental health challenges.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to deliver care from the comfort of your own space while utilizing our advanced telehealth platform. The work environment promotes flexibility and balance, with the primary schedule being Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some scheduling flexibility may be needed based on patient demands, ensuring that we can meet the needs of our clientele effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to discern patients' needs and craft individualized therapy plans.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to address a variety of issues.
  • Facilitate support groups and psychoeducation sessions that foster community and provide patients with critical coping strategies.
  • Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for each patient.
  • Respond to mental health crises with prompt intervention strategies and therapeutic support.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health topics, outlining treatment options and available resources in the local community.
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with health regulations.
  • Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to stay abreast of advancements in mental health treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele representing various backgrounds and cultures, with a focus on individuals coping with mental health challenges. Your expertise will be vital in creating a safe and supportive environment where patients feel empowered to discuss their concerns and work towards mental wellness.

Qualifications
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York.
  • In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and various therapeutic approaches.
  • Proven skill in conducting comprehensive assessments and creating effective treatment plans.
  • Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage meaningfully with clients.
  • Ability to apply sound judgment while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other related computer applications.
  • A collaborative mindset to work successfully within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in an outpatient setting.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote service delivery.
  • Background in crisis intervention and management.
Compensation and Benefits
