Job description

At OneSpan, we specialize in digital identity and anti-fraud solutions that create exceptional and secure experiences.

At OneSpan, we empower critical infrastructure organizations to thrive by enabling secure, compliant, and frictionless digital interactions. Trusted by 60% of the world's top 100 banks, we help global enterprises enrich customer experiences, mitigate emerging threats, and prepare for the digital future. As a senior leader on our marketing team, your work will shape how millions of people securely interact with the world around them. What you do here truly matters.

As our Global Director of Product Marketing, you will lead the strategy, team, and cross‑functional execution that brings OneSpan's cybersecurity solutions—particularly multi-factor authentication and mobile app protection—to market. You will guide a team of product marketers, influence senior stakeholders, and serve as a key voice in defining market direction, competitive strategy, and customer value.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing product marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
  • Define the long‑term product marketing vision aligned to company strategy, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Partner with executive leadership to influence product strategy, portfolio direction, and investment decisions.
  • Establish scalable processes, templates, and governance for consistency and speed.

Go‑to‑Market & Product Launch

  • Own the launch strategy and execution for new products , major releases, and market expansions.
  • Drive cross‑functional alignment across product, sales, demand generation, corporate communications, and partner teams.
  • Assess and size market opportunities to guide prioritization and growth strategies.

Market & Buyer Intelligence

  • Establish a deep understanding of buyers, competitors, and market dynamics to inform product and business decisions.
  • Oversee development of use‑case frameworks that guide product innovation and integration strategies.
  • Build a competitive program: battle cards, "why we win/lose," field intel loops, pricing/packaging comparisons.

Positioning, Messaging & Value Narrative

  • Own the creation of differentiated positioning that clearly articulates the business and technical value of our cybersecurity solutions.
  • Ensure message consistency across all channels, regions, and customer touch points.

Content Strategy & Sales Enablement

  • Oversee development of high‑impact content including solution narratives, website content, videos, datasheets, and thought‑leadership assets.
  • Create and maintain enablement assets: pitch decks, talk tracks, discovery guides, demo narratives, objection handling, ROI/value tools, case studies, and competitive insights to win.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership and Enablement on training, certification, and play adoption.
  • Partner with revenue leadership to improve pipeline quality, deal velocity, and win rates.

Executive‑Level Evangelism

  • Serve as a senior spokesperson for OneSpan's cybersecurity portfolio across customers, analysts, partners, and media.
  • Champion our vision internally to drive alignment, excitement, and clarity across the organization.

Minimum Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B product marketing or product management experience, with at least 5+ years leading global teams.
  • Deep expertise in multi-factor authentication, mobile security, or fraud prevention.
  • Experience in financial services (banking, insurance, fintech) strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex cybersecurity concepts.
  • Proven success leading GTM strategy for technical products in high‑growth or enterprise environments.
  • Strong executive presence and comfort presenting to C‑suite, analysts, and large audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field.

Preferred Requirements

  • Product marketing or product management certifications (Pragmatic Institute, PMA, Product Focus, 280 Group).
  • Experience scaling teams or building new functions within a cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS organization.

Salary: $215,000 - $265,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) plus bonus.
