Summary
You will serve as a HOUSING MANAGER (INSPECTOR) in the ???????Fleet and Family Readiness Division of NAVWPNSTA SEAL BEACH.

  • You will act as point of contact for the Property Manager to ensure good coordination on issues affecting the installation, residence and public-private venture (PPV) partner.
  • You will oversee the execution of inspections, audits, and management reviews to ensure compliance with housing program requirements.
  • You will investigate and resolve tenant-landlord complaints to recommend resolution, or arbitrate disputes.
  • You will promote good relations between residents and neighboring communities.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) conducting housing facility inspections and identifying deficiencies; 2) interpreting, explaining and applying technical requirements and specifications to quality problems encountered in such activities as audits, facility inspections, or investigations; and 3) preparing reports and point papers that include information relative to data collection, analysis and recommendation for action.

Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree

Physical demands: The work is primarily sedentary and no special demands are required in its performance. However, the work involves some walking, climbing, standing, bending, carrying, and driving a motor vehicle.
Work environment: Office work involves normal risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices and meeting and training rooms. Employees may be required to wear protective gear including hard hats, boots, and coveralls while visiting housing units or facilities undergoing inspection, repair, maintenance, or renovations.
