Contract Litigation Attorney โ€“ Real Estate, Housing & Civil Litigation

A respected California litigation practice is seeking a Contract Litigation Attorney with approximately 2โ€“5 years of experience to assist with a sophisticated caseload involving real estate, affordable housing, land use, construction, and public entity disputes.

The position offers meaningful litigation responsibility, direct client interaction, and regular collaboration with experienced attorneys. Candidates will be involved in matters from inception through resolution and will have exposure to court appearances, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, motions, oppositions, and legal memoranda
  • Conduct legal research and case analysis
  • Manage all phases of discovery
  • Conduct and defend depositions
  • Prepare and argue motions in state and federal court
  • Participate in mediation and settlement efforts
  • Assist with bench and jury trial preparation
  • Maintain client communication and reporting
  • Meet court deadlines and case management requirements

Qualifications

  • Active California Bar license and good standing
  • 2โ€“5 years of civil litigation experience
