PACKAGING TECHNICIAN

TECHNICAL PACKAGING DEVELOPMENT (TPD)
 
We are looking for a Packaging Technician to join our Technical Packaging Development team in Granollers. This role is responsible for the development, validation and industrialization of packaging components for new initiatives, ensuring feasible, compliant and costeffective solutions that support site competitiveness and successful product launches.
 
THE ROLE
OPTIMIZE, ENABLE, INNOVATE!
 
As our Packaging Technician, you play a critical role in leading the technical development and industrialization of packaging components, supporting new product initiatives, supplier capability, business continuity and continuous improvement across the Granollers site.
You will be reporting to the Material Productivity Projects Manager, and you will manage:
 
NEW INITIATIVE TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP
  • Provide technical inputs during packaging design phases in collaboration with R&D Packaging
  • Support FMEA activities and ensure technical readiness for project handover
  • Participate in startups and industrial trials to validate component performance
SECONDARY PACKAGING & ENDOFLINE
  • Create and validate secondary packaging specifications
  • Test and validate endofline configurations
  • Perform transport and robustness tests
SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT, QUALITY & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
  • Lead supplier capability and capacity improvements
  • Conduct rootcause analysis for specification deviations
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify costsaving opportunities
YOU ARE A COTY FIT
As a technically driven, methodical and collaborative professional, you thrive in a fastpaced and diverse environment. You are organized, resultsfocused and comfortable working crossfunctionally across the full project lifecycle.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Design or similar academic background
  • 3-5 years of experience in packaging or similar technical roles
  • Deep understanding of production and engineering environments
  • Knowledge of planning, logistics, materials and the New Product Development.
  • Strong understanding of quality control requirements and procedures
  • Skilled in 2D & 3D design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar)
  • Skilled in working with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Proficiency in working with Power BI
