Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to address the specific needs of students.
• Implement evidence-based interventions to promote emotional and psychological well-being among students.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with a dedicated treatment team—consisting of school counselors, teachers, and other mental health professionals—to ensure coordinated care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health issues, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, and trauma. You will work directly with students to provide them with personalized support and interventions that not only address immediate concerns but also foster long-term resilience and coping skills.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Virginia.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a relevant setting.
• Proficiency in solution-focused therapy and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with students and families.
