Work Environment

This is a remote position that offers flexibility while allowing you to engage with clients in a school setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to collect detailed information regarding clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and available resources.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Therapy.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with client needs by establishing clear goals and tailored interventions.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver cohesive client care.
• Facilitate crisis interventions and conduct risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of clients during challenging moments.
• Document clinical notes and treatment progress meticulously, adhering to relevant ethical and legal guidelines.
• Lead group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes that aim to enhance client insights into their mental health journeys.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Inner Hope and Balance, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. Your expertise will not only provide immediate therapeutic support but will also help clients build resilience and coping strategies necessary for their ongoing mental health and personal development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health or outpatient setting is essential.
• Proficient knowledge of evidence-based practices and therapeutic approaches is expected.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and assessment skills are crucial for successful client engagement.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years’ experience is required, candidates with a background in working with children in a school environment or with trauma-focused therapy will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with telehealth platforms is also advantageous due to the remote nature of this role.

Compensation and Benefits
