Job Description:
Addison Group is seeking a Political Operations Coordinator on behalf of our client for a long-term contract opportunity supporting the 2026 election cycle. This position plays an essential role in coordinating advertising campaign operations, maintaining scheduling accuracy, and ensuring timely execution of media placements.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. This role requires strong communication skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting critical deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain advertising schedules, revisions, and campaign-related data with a high degree of accuracy.
- Process campaign orders, rate information, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate daily operational activities with internal teams and external media partners.
- Monitor campaign execution and assist with issue resolution to ensure successful delivery.
- Maintain tracking reports, campaign records, and budget-related documentation.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and business partners regarding campaign status and fulfillment.
- Support reporting requirements and administrative functions tied to advertising operations.
- Utilize internal systems and technology platforms to manage workflow and campaign activity.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and maintain operational efficiency.
- Contribute to a professional, team-focused environment while supporting high-volume workloads.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a professional, deadline-driven environment preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new software platforms and proprietary systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when handling data.
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Willingness to work additional hours during peak business periods as needed.
Preferred Experience:
- Political campaigns, advocacy organizations, public affairs, or government internship experience
- Media, advertising, communications, or marketing environments
- Analytical, technical, data-focused, or technology-related backgrounds
- Hospitality, retail, or customer service experience in fast-paced environments
Additional Details:
- Start Date: July 13, 2026
- All new hires will begin on the same date as part of a structured onboarding and training program.
- Candidates should disclose any pre-planned time off during the interview process.
- Time off will not be approved during the first two weeks of training.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Position is not eligible for sponsorship.
- Initial pay rate is $18.40/hour.
- Compensation increases to $20.00/hour after completion of 400 worked hours.
- Assignment is expected to continue through November 2026.
- Hybrid work schedule consisting of three in-office days and two remote days each week.
- In-person interviews will be conducted with members of the hiring team.
