Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented B2B Lead Generation & Authority Building Specialist to design, execute, and manage a comprehensive market authority and lead generation system. This is a critical contractor role focused on driving qualified inbound interest and converting content engagement into booked sales conversations, specifically targeting C-suite and sales leadership in industrial markets. This is not a generic social media role; we require an expert who understands strategic B2B market authority building and consistent organic lead generation.

Responsibilities & Deliverables

The successful contractor will be responsible for:

  • Strategic Planning & Management: Owning and developing a strategic marketing plan, ensuring all activities are aligned and measurable. This includes managing a small marketing team to execute the strategy.
  • Content System Development: Building full multi-channel organic content systems that effectively repurpose core assets (Field Guides, webinars, podcasts, short-form video, thought leadership).
  • LinkedIn Authority Building: Deep experience managing LinkedIn authority positioning and outreach systems to engage target executives.
  • Multi-Platform Content Execution: Developing and implementing weekly/monthly content calendars across LinkedIn (primary), Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Lead Generation: Building and managing light DM-based outreach on LinkedIn to move content engagement into booked sales conversations.
  • Regional Targeting: Experience targeting content and lead generation efforts regionally (Arizona & Georgia).
  • Performance Reporting: Providing clear reporting on audience growth, lead generation, and booked conversations.
  • Initial Project: Building a 90-day Field Guide Content Launch Plan.

Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated results in B2B lead generation for professional service or consulting firms, particularly those in the 6-figure sales consulting or similar B2B environments. Must have a track record of generating qualified B2B leads (actual business conversations, not just followers or vanity metrics).
  • Industry Understanding: Deep understanding of consultative selling, complex sales cycles, and executive-level messaging. Experience with construction, manufacturing, distribution, and industrial services is highly preferred.
  • Authority Positioning: Proven ability to position B2B brands as market authorities.
  • Platform Expertise: Deep experience with LinkedIn for authority positioning and outreach. Familiarity with IG, Facebook, and TikTok audience growth specifically for professional B2B audiences.
  • Sales Methodology: Knowledge or experience with the Sandler Selling System or other consultative sales methodologies is highly valuable.
  • Education: While not strictly required, a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or relevant certifications, is a plus.

Working Conditions

This is a remote, independent contractor (1099) position operating in a results-only work environment. No physical demands or travel requirements are expected.

Compensation

Competitive project-based fee for 90-day launch (estimated project value: $15,000 - $35,000). Successful completion could lead to a monthly strategic retainer ($5,000 – $10,000/month based on scope and experience) with performance-based incentives for qualified discovery conversations.

Success is Defined As

  • Growing an organic audience of qualified business owners, executives, and sales leaders in industrial markets.
  • Generating consistent discovery conversations with qualified prospects.
  • Positioning us as the clear authority in B2B sales training for construction, manufacturing, and industrial companies.

To Apply

Interested candidates should submit:

  1. Case studies demonstrating successful B2B lead generation for professional service or consulting firms.
  2. Examples of content authority systems you’ve successfully launched.
  3. An explanation of your approach for building an organic content-led lead funnel
  4. Any relevant experience working with construction, manufacturing, or industrial sector clients.

Company Description

We are a highly specialized B2B sales training and consulting firm (Sandler Training franchise), focused on the industrial markets, including Construction (general contractors, subcontractors, specialty contractors) and Manufacturing (industrial manufacturers, distributors, capital equipment providers). We empower these companies to build high-performance sales organizations, reduce dependency on low-margin bidding, achieve consistent revenue growth, and drive higher-profit negotiated business. Our core audience comprises CEOs, business owners, division leaders, and sales VPs of companies with established sales teams. Historically, our growth has been referral-based; we are now poised for accelerated scaling through an organic authority and lead generation system.
