Discover a top-rated culture, vast growth opportunities and your next big career move with Aprio.

Join Aprio's Business Operations - Growth team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities.  Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Director, Go-To-Market Strategy to join their dynamic team.

Aprio's Go-to-Market (GTM) organization sets and drives execution of the firm's growth strategy across its Industries and Practices. This is a newly created, critical leadership role: reporting to the GTM Leader, the Director of Go-to-Market Strategy will own the connective tissue between firm-wide growth strategy and day-to-day execution - turning priorities into detailed, data-driven plans and holding the organization accountable for delivering them. This is a high-profile role that will work with Industry Leaders, Practice Leaders, and Industry Growth Leaders to ensure strategy is translated into actionable plans to achieve results across a matrixed organization.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a cohesive and connected GTM strategy across Industries and Practices that supports organic growth goals
  • Partner with Industry Leaders, Industry Growth Leaders (IGLs), and practice leadership to build and execute data-driven growth strategies and initiatives - including expanding services with clients to deepen relationships and driving the GTM rollout of AI-enabled solutions
  • Drive execution rigor by developing reporting and analytics used to track and manage progress of GTM initiatives and overall GTM progress (e.g., industry growth trends and underlying drivers, forward revenue visibility based on pipeline)
  • Coach industry leaders into stronger operators and client relationship leaders who proactively push partners in their industries to focus on connecting clients to the right Aprio solutions to solve their challenges and drive their success
  • Drive adoption and refinement of AI-enabled GTM tools and systems (e.g., Hubspot, Propense.AI) to support the organization
Qualifications:
  • 8-12+ years of experience in go-to-market strategy, growth strategy, or business development leadership
  • Experience in a similar go-to-market or growth strategy leadership role within the professional services industry, ideally at a national or leading regional accounting and advisory firm
  • Demonstrated ability to build a data-driven GTM strategy and translate it into disciplined execution across a matrixed, multi-business-line organization
  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills; proven ability to influence and align senior leaders without direct authority
  • Analytical rigor; comfortable building and interpreting dashboards, pipeline metrics, and business cases
  • Track record of developing and upskilling growth leaders/managers into higher-impact strategic roles
  • Demonstrated experience building AI agents or solutions to drive GTM strategic initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Power BI and Salesforce/HubSpot, or a similar GTM technology stack
  • MBA or other advanced degree
$197,000 - $302,000 a year
The salary range for this opportunity is stated above. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.
The application window is anticipated to close on 9/15/26 and may be extended as needed.
