Job description

As anOracle database administrator senior or lead, you'll have the opportunity to work on operational requirements stemming from service requests from our customers. You'll work on implementation of Oracle Exadata platform and work with application teams to facilitate migration to Exadata and other areas to improve application performance and the end user experience. You'll also be responsible for providing day-to-day support for our Oracle databases in various environments, as well as providing project support for key enterprise initiatives. You'll also provide secondary production on-call support.
This is a remote position for U.S. based work only.
Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering) and a minimum four years of related work experience with database application development, database administration, and/or operating system administration with RDBMS
  • In lieu of degree, a minimum of six years related work experience with database application development, database administration, and/or operating system administration with RDBMS may be accepted.

Preferred Skills
  • Recent Oracle Exadata DBA experience, including strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database 19c+ and knowledge of Oracle stored procedures, utilities, tablespaces, tables, indexes, views, and triggers
  • Experience with Exadata architecture, patching, appliance maintenance, Oracle RAC, Multitenant, Data Guard/Physical Standby, and infrastructure knowledge
  • Database performance tuning, SQL troubleshooting, OEM monitoring and troubleshooting, Linux/Unix scripting and automation, and experience with data sharing, online applications, or data warehouse environments
  • Ability to independently lead complex technical work from planning through validation, including technical leadership or mentoring experience
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, cross-team collaboration skills, and experience working with Oracle Support and managing SRs

Compensation
  • $118,000 - $146,900/year depending on position level and experience
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30-40% depending on position level) of your eligible earnings based on company performance
