Position Overview

Oracle Counseling Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Full-Time Clinical Mental Health Therapist to join our team. This role is ideal for licensed professionals who specialize in mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will be an integral part of our remote operation, delivering high-quality care and support to our clients, ensuring they receive tailored treatment that promotes their mental well-being.

Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you greater flexibility while meeting the needs of our client base. Our successful remote operation is supported by cutting-edge telehealth technologies that facilitate secure and effective communication with clients. You will maintain a work-life balance while working typical hours from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend hours as part of a rotational schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth assessments to accurately evaluate clients’ symptoms, focusing on the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorders.
  • Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that align with their individual needs, goals, and preferences.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progression.
  • Provide education to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, various treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower clients in their recovery journey.
  • Monitor and document clients’ progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
  • Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration of care for clients.
  • Stay abreast of the latest clinical research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continually inform and refine therapeutic approaches.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations, adhering to ethical standards of practice.
  • Engage in proactive case consultations and team meetings to share insights and strategies that enhance clinical effectiveness within our practice.
  • Advocate for the destigmatization of mental health issues, helping to promote awareness and accessibility of mental health resources for all clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Oracle Counseling Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients grappling with mood disorders. Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited academic institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
  • Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.
  • Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals involved in the care of clients.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years post-licensure experience specializing in the treatment of mood disorders is preferred.
  • A proven track record of achieving successful outcomes in mental health treatment and the ability to share evidence of such outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits
