This role is ideal for licensed professionals who specialize in mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you greater flexibility while meeting the needs of our client base. Our successful remote operation is supported by cutting-edge telehealth technologies that facilitate secure and effective communication with clients. You will maintain a work-life balance while working typical hours from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend hours as part of a rotational schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments to accurately evaluate clients’ symptoms, focusing on the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorders.
• Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that align with their individual needs, goals, and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progression.
• Provide education to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, various treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower clients in their recovery journey.
• Monitor and document clients’ progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration of care for clients.
• Stay abreast of the latest clinical research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continually inform and refine therapeutic approaches.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations, adhering to ethical standards of practice.
• Engage in proactive case consultations and team meetings to share insights and strategies that enhance clinical effectiveness within our practice.
• Advocate for the destigmatization of mental health issues, helping to promote awareness and accessibility of mental health resources for all clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Oracle Counseling Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients grappling with mood disorders. This may include adolescents and adults who require compassionate care to navigate the complexities of their mental health challenges. Your role will not only involve direct interaction with clients but also providing vital support to their families, creating a network of understanding and assistance.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited academic institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals involved in the care of clients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years post-licensure experience specializing in the treatment of mood disorders is preferred.
• A proven track record of achieving successful outcomes in mental health treatment and the ability to share evidence of such outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
