Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments that analyze clients' mood disorder symptoms, exploring the severity, frequency, and context of their experiences.
  • Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that address unique needs, aspirations, and preferences regarding mental health care.
  • Implement evidence-based modalities while delivering therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored specifically for mood disorders.
  • Educate clients and their families about the nuances of mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to promote long-term resilience.
  • Monitor and track the effectiveness of treatment plans, using clinical judgment to adjust strategies based on clients' progress and needs.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to facilitate holistic care and enhance treatment outcomes.
  • Stay informed about the latest research in mood disorders, incorporating new findings into treatment practices to guarantee clients receive the best care.
  • Maintain detailed records of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with ethical standards and confidentiality regulations.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and enhance your clinical skill set.
  • Advocate for client needs, working towards reducing the stigma associated with mood disorders in the community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Oracle Counseling Center, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. The client population is diverse, encompassing various backgrounds, and the approach is tailored to meet the unique cultural and personal needs of each individual.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.
  • A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience with a focus on treating mood disorders is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies for mood disorders such as CBT and DBT.
  • Knowledgeable in psychopharmacology, with the ability to communicate effectively with psychiatrists and integrated care teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, fostering the ability to engage successfully with diverse client populations.
Preferred Experience

In addition to the required qualifications, candidates who possess a proven track record of achieving successful outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, reflecting the importance of this role within our organization.
