Position Overview

Oracle Counseling Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate mental health therapists to fill full-time positions in our remote outpatient psychiatric practice. As a key member of our team, you will work to provide exemplary care to patients dealing with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance misuse. Work Environment

This role offers a fully remote work setting, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your own home while also enjoying flexibility to meet patient needs. As a therapist, you will join a vibrant community of professionals dedicated to mental healthcare, engaging in regular team meetings and consultations that enhance our therapeutic approaches. While the primary schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some adaptation may be necessary to accommodate patient appointments and needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that effectively identify patient needs and inform personalized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapy utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to foster psychological wellbeing.
• Lead psychoeducational and support groups, promoting a sense of community and shared learning to address common mental health challenges.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers to guarantee coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Deliver crisis intervention services, providing immediate support and strategies during mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower informed choices.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Engage in professional development through continuous education opportunities to stay current with advancements in mental health therapy.
• Actively participate in case consultations and multidisciplinary team meetings to refine therapeutic practices and enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure in the state of Illinois as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills critical for rapport building and collaboration.
• Strong professionalism and ethical standards, ensuring boundary maintenance and sound judgment.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications relevant to therapy.
• A commitment to collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and openness to feedback.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience delivering individual and group therapy, showcasing adaptability across diverse populations.
• Previous involvement in crisis intervention and effective response protocols to mental health emergencies.
• Active participation in continuing education courses or workshops focusing on the latest advancements in mental health treatments.

Compensation and Benefits
