Job Summary

The Strategic Analytics organization at Arch is driving automation, data, and AI transformation across the company. Our AI & Automation Engineering team bridges the gap between innovation and business value by transforming AI capabilities into scalable, enterprise-grade software solutions that improve underwriting, claims, and operational processes.

As a Manager, AI & Automation Engineering, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for designing, building, and delivering production-ready AI solutions. You will partner closely with AI scientists, business stakeholders, engagement leads, architects, and platform engineering teams to operationalize AI capabilities through modern software engineering practices.

This role is focused on engineering delivery and people leadership. You will lead a distributed engineering team, establish predictable delivery practices, and ensure high-quality implementation of AI solutions while collaborating with Principal AI Engineers who provide technical strategy, engineering standards, and innovation across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

AI Solution Delivery

  • Lead implementation of AI-powered business solutions from concept through production

  • Ensure successful deployment of AI solutions into enterprise production environments

  • Translate business requirements into executable engineering delivery plans

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner closely with business stakeholders and engagement leads to understand priorities and define implementation roadmaps

People Leadership

  • Lead and develop an offshore engineering team

  • Build a high-performing engineering culture focused on accountability, quality, and continuous improvement

Required Experience

  • 5+ years delivering enterprise software solutions

  • Experience leading engineering teams or technical delivery teams

  • Strong experience delivering cloud-native software, APIs, automation, and integration solutions

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple concurrent initiatives

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, GitHub, CI/CD, APIs, and event-driven architectures

  • Experience implementing AI or machine learning solutions in production environments

  • Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance or Financial Services, Data Analytics, or equivalent

  • EST working hours required

For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.

$145,000 - $172,000/year

  • Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
